CPVA Membership

Advocacy-based organizations depend upon our members to help us advance the causes we believe in and participate in causes and events important to us.

CPVA welcomes as a member any military person who meets the definition of Veteran set out by Veterans Affairs Canada. Also welcomed as members are RCMP, Provincial, Regional, or Municipal Police, and Civilians, serving or retired, who participated in peace support, peacekeeping, anti-terrorist, or war operations, domestically or internationally.

CPVA also welcomes non-Veterans, as well as organizations, corporations, or groups who wish to support CPVA’s Mission and Objects.

Members have the choice of joining one of our local Chapters situated across the country, or the National Chapter. Local Chapters provide a fraternal relationship, featuring a combination of service to the community and regular social get-togethers among the members. If you reside outside the catchment area of our Chapters, you may opt to join the National Chapter which conducts its communications and other business online. Regardless, all members (except Honorary Members) enjoy full voting privileges and participation in CPVA activities.
